We're working with a fast-growing building services consultancy that's doing things differently. Established by industry professionals who wanted to strip away unnecessary complexity, this business has quickly built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality MEP design, commissioning and operational support across commercial workplaces, data centres, aviation, residential and large-scale fit-out projects. They're now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing London team. The Role
You'll lead and support the delivery of electrical building services design across a range of technically challenging projects, working through all stages from concept to completion. Projects include:
- Commercial fit-outs
- Data centres
- Residential developments
- Aviation and infrastructure projects
- Decarbonisation and sustainable design schemes
You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and contractors, taking ownership of designs while mentoring junior engineers and supporting project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical design across RIBA stages
- Produce calculations, specifications and technical drawings
- Lead coordination with internal and external design teams
- Attend client and site meetings
- Support commissioning, witnessing and handover activities
- Mentor junior engineers and graduates
- Contribute to technical quality and project delivery standards
What They're Looking For
- Experience within building services consultancy
- Strong electrical design background across commercial projects
- Proficiency with industry software and design standards
- Knowledge of lighting, small power, LV distribution and associated systems
- Ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients
- Ideally working toward or already Chartered
