Are you an experienced MRICS Quantity Surveyor seeking a new challenge with a leading construction consultancy? Our client, a highly respected and growing consultancy based in Leeds, is looking to expand their commercial team with a driven and capable Quantity Surveyor.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management services across a range of exciting projects, with a strong focus on the Build to Rent (BtR) and Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sectors. Working within a collaborative consultancy environment, you'll manage the full life cycle of projects - from feasibility through to final accounts - ensuring value, accuracy, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost planning, estimating, and benchmarking at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Managing and administering contracts, including JCT and NEC.
  • Preparing tender documentation and analysing bids.
  • Providing commercial advice and client liaison throughout.
  • Leading on residential sector projects with a focus on BtR and PBSA.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.

About You

  • MRICS qualified (or close to achieving chartership).
  • Previous experience working within a construction consultancy environment.
  • Strong commercial knowledge with a proven track record in the residential sector.
  • Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
