The Role
As a Graduate / Civil Engineer, you'll support the design and delivery of infrastructure packages across a variety of development projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the design of highways and drainage infrastructure for residential developments
- Supporting surface water and foul drainage design, including SuDS principles
- Assisting with site levels, earthworks and external works design
- Producing technical drawings and design information using industry-standard software
- Supporting the preparation of reports and technical documentation for planning and approvals
- Working closely with senior engineers, architects, and external consultants
- Contributing to projects from concept design through to detailed design stages
- Learning and applying UK design standards and approval processes
What We're Looking For
To be considered, you should have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng)
- Up to 2 years' experience in civil engineering or development infrastructure design (including placements)
- An interest in highways, drainage and residential development projects
- Familiarity with software such as: Civil 3D (preferred), MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage (desirable)
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- A proactive and motivated approach to developing your engineering career
