They are now looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to take a key role in project delivery, client engagement, and supporting the development of the local team.

The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the delivery of electrical building services design across a variety of projects
  • Produce calculations, specifications, reports and detailed design drawings
  • Act as a key client-facing representative in meetings and project discussions
  • Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, programme and budget compliance
  • Review and check technical output from the wider team
  • Contribute to CDM compliance, project risk management and ISO quality standards

This role also offers clear progression into leadership as the Birmingham team continues to grow.

  • Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (HNC/HND considered)
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (CIBSE or IET)
  • Strong proficiency with design tools including Amtech, Relux and Dialux
  • Experience with AutoCAD and working knowledge of Revit
  • Confident client-facing communicator with strong coordination skills
  • Experience with surveys and spatial coordination of plant areas
  • Strong ownership mindset and commitment to design quality
