I'm currently working with a well-established, design-led engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Technician into its Birmingham team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician who wants to work on high-quality development infrastructure projects in a business where technicians play a key role in delivery, not just production.

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a strong civils team delivering projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments, covering highways, drainage and external works from concept through to construction.

The Role

  • Production of 2D and 3D civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD / Civil 3D
  • Supporting the design of roads, drainage and site infrastructure
  • Working across multiple projects at various design stages
  • Coordinating with engineers, architects and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with design standards
  • Supporting and mentoring more junior technicians where required
