I'm working with a fast-growing, award-winning consultancy that's looking to appoint a Principal or Associate Transport Planner to join their expanding Oxford team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transport planning professional looking to step into a more senior position with genuine influence over project delivery, client relationships, team development and business growth. The role would suit someone who enjoys a mix of technical delivery, project leadership and client-facing responsibility, while still remaining involved in a varied portfolio of development-led projects.
The Role
You'll take a leading role across a range of transport planning projects, working closely with clients, local authorities and internal teams to deliver high-quality advice and commercially aware solutions. Projects span residential, mixed-use, commercial, logistics, education and regeneration schemes, offering varied and technically interesting work.

- Lead and manage transport planning projects from inception through to completion

- Transport Statements
- Travel Plans
- Access Appraisals
- Technical Notes
- TRICS
- Junctions (ARCADY / PICADY)
- Other transport modelling software
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Strong experience within development-led transport planning
- Ability to manage projects and communicate effectively with clients
- Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports
- Knowledge of relevant planning policy and transport guidance
- Experience with:
- AutoCAD
- TRICS
- Junctions (ARCADY / PICADY)
- Transport modelling tools
