Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings. In recent years, the hotel has undergone significant investment and renovation, transforming the bedrooms, restaurant, residents’ lounge, sports bar and all public areas to deliver a refined and contemporary guest experience. December marked the completion and opening of the new Salus Spa facilities, further enhancing the estate’s luxury leisure offering. The next phase of development will see the addition of new bedrooms, expanded event spaces and additional treatment rooms, all scheduled to open later this year.
Main purpose of the role: This is a role that can be for someone new into Hotel finance operation who enjoys imputing and is task orientated. You’ll play a key role in supporting the Accounts team and the Accounts Office Manager ensuring our process and procedures are followed efficiently.
Main duties include:
- Providing admin support for the finance team
- Imputing items onto ‘Logit’ stocktaking platform
- Inputting invoices
- Understanding of Sage 50 a benefit but not essential
- Chasing outstanding payments via email and phone
- Dealing with general queries
- Performing revenue audits
- Performing ad hoc tasks as required
- Liaising with internal departments
- Assisting with account reconciliations
