Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings. In recent years, the hotel has undergone significant investment and renovation, transforming the bedrooms, restaurant, residents’ lounge, sports bar and all public areas to deliver a refined and contemporary guest experience. December marked the completion and opening of the new Salus Spa facilities, further enhancing the estate’s luxury leisure offering. The next phase of development will see the addition of new bedrooms, expanded event spaces and additional treatment rooms, all scheduled to open later this year.

A Commis Chef is responsible for assisting other kitchen staff. Their primary duties include food preparation, serving customers, cleaning the kitchen, and equipment.
Main duties and purpose of the role:
- Supporting the senior chefs in the kitchen with the preparation of food, cleaning tasks
- Maintaining a clean section
- Managing stock levels on the section
- Assisting with food service and the close down at the end of your shift
- Occasionally supporting the Kitchen Porters with their duties
- Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment like cookers, pots and food mixers
- Learning and Development, following instructions from the senior chefs
