Hours of Work: Part Time

Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings.
In recent years, the hotel has undergone significant investment and renovation, transforming the bedrooms, restaurant, residents’ lounge, sports bar and all public areas to deliver a refined and contemporary guest experience.
December marked the completion and opening of the new Salus Spa facilities, further enhancing the estate’s luxury leisure offering. The next phase of development will see the addition of new bedrooms, expanded event spaces and additional treatment rooms, all scheduled to open later this year.
Main purpose of the role:
To oversee the daily operation of the Café including food production and food serving.
Main duties include:
- To ensure that all Residents and Leisure guests always receive a high level of customer service from pre arrival until they depart.
- Ensure high-quality food and beverage offering are consistently delivered to customers
- Oversee the daily running of the café, this being from front of house to kitchen food preparing.
- Daily assisting thewith Spa Café with guest meet and greet, cafe orientation, Spa & Leisure guests check in and out, taking payment, alongside internal customer enquiries on service and bookings.
- To ensure the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and tidiness in the Leisure area.
- To adhere to the opening and closing procedures of the department.
- Assist in the cleaning of the department and light maintenance of the equipment.
- To always maintain personal hygiene standards.
- Be able to carry out both pool and spa tests and take corrective action where necessary
- Provide refreshments to day spa, hotel, and Leisure guests within the Spa and leisure areas.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and ability to follow basic recipes
- Ability to provide guests with up-to-date information and directions while attending the function
- To be polite and courteous to all guests and visitors to the hotel at all times
- Valid food hygiene certificate from the Food Standards Agency
