Position reports to: Head of Spa and Leisure

Located: Aldwark Manor Estate, Aldwark, Nr. Alne, York, YO611UF

Hours of Work: full time or flexible hours role

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings.

In recent years, the hotel has undergone significant investment and renovation, transforming the bedrooms, restaurant, residents’ lounge, sports bar and all public areas to deliver a refined and contemporary guest experience. December 2025 marked the completion and opening of the new Salus Spa facilities, further enhancing the estate’s luxury leisure offering. The next phase of development will see the addition of new bedrooms, expanded event spaces and additional treatment rooms, all scheduled to open later this year.

Main purpose of the role

To ensure that the Spa & Leisure and public areas are kept to the highest level of standards of hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness.

Main duties include

  • To meet cleaning schedules of all Spa and Leisure facilities included on Standard operating procedures.
  • Keep on top of Spa laundry levels.
  • Reporting of maintenance issues to Head of Spa and Leisure.
  • Remove any litter from the Spa and dispose of in the correct way.
  • Ensure all product within the facilities are filled with the correct products.
  • Ability to jump into tasks and work independently.
  • To always maintain personal hygiene standards.
