Salary: £12.80 for over 21’s

Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 200 acres of beautiful countryside, this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings. In recent years, the hotel has undergone significant investment and renovation, transforming the bedrooms, restaurant, residents’ lounge, sports bar and all public areas to deliver a refined and contemporary guest experience. December marked the completion and opening of the new Salus Spa facilities, further enhancing the estate’s luxury leisure offering. The next phase of development will see the addition of new bedrooms, expanded event spaces and additional treatment rooms, all scheduled to open later this year.

Main purpose of the role: As a Bartender you are responsible for delivering a great guest experience in our bar outlets, through creating amazing drinks and delivering great personal service, ensuring our guests have a great stay with us.

About You: We are looking for a confident, self‑motivated and professional individual to join our Squadron Bar Team here at Aldwark Manor Estate. As Bartender, you’ll deliver efficient service to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to create the best experience for our guests. You will also be assisting in our other Food and Beverage outlets within the Estate.

Main duties of the role:

  • Ensure that our Squadron Bar is always well presented, a welcoming environment and set to the premium standard set by Aldwark Manor Estate.
  • Have a good knowledge of all our outlets, services and all beverages available within the estate.
  • Maintain excellent standards of customer care at all times.
  • Promote specials and provide great knowledge on our food and drink offer.
  • Duties are to include creating drinks efficiently & quickly, cleaning & restocking the bar, maintaining brand standards.
  • Contribute to new ideas in creating menus and improving service.
  • Supporting in all other Food and Beverage outlets.
  • Liaising with restaurants, kitchen and reception.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, re‑stock as required.
