About us
Aldridge Education is a charitable Trust of entrepreneurial community schools and colleges that help young people to reach their potential. We support our schools' Principals and teachers in rapidly improving the quality of education on offer at early years, primary, secondary and sixth-form levels in order to transform the life-chances of our students. We believe that education should be stimulating, enriching and enjoyable. That strong schools achieve this through creating the right environment for high-quality learning having strong, broad and relevant curricula; by having clear boundaries, building excellent relationships and working to close gaps for every learner. We believe that a great education empowers people, both children and adults, because it offers them genuine choices for their future decisions. And helps them to appreciate the value of learning throughout their lives.
About Aldridge Connect
Aldridge Connect is a new programme that will be rolled out from September 2025. It is an enhanced approach to delivering careers and cultural education and guidance, ensuring all pupils receive support appropriate to their needs. Aldridge Connect aims to ensure all Aldridge pupils have the skills, opportunities, and confidence to move on to aspirational destinations and be successful as they make their way in the world. As a Trust, Aldridge Education aims for fewer than 1% NEETs in all academies, and the Connect programme will play a key role in supporting this aim. Aldridge Connect incorporates careers and cultural education into one comprehensive programme, combining careers and enterprise education with a rich offer of other activities, to build cultural capital and enhance world view. Alongside Aldridge Connect, Connect + runs as an enhanced programme that offers additional support for pupils who are most at risk of becoming NEET, or not progressing to aspirational destinations. Connect activities are supported by a strong curriculum ensuring that pupils are receiving regular information about careers, and opportunities to develop their skills within the classroom. This is an exciting opportunity in a brand new role, meaning your input will be welcome in its development. The postholder will be based remotely, but will be expected to travel to our school sites across the country when necessary.
