About the Role
As a Higher‑Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work closely with teachers to support teaching and learning. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high‑quality classroom support and, when required, leading lessons
- Working with individuals and small groups to enhance learning and build confidence
- Adapting resources and supporting students with additional needs
- Assisting with assessment, providing feedback and monitoring student progress
- Contributing to a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications and Experience
- HLTA status or working towards it
- Experience as a teaching assistant and confidence in delivering lessons
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour, display patience, enthusiasm and a commitment to student success
- Team‑working skills with excellent communication and organisational abilities
