Our client is a fast-growing FinTech company with a friendly and dynamic culture. They are looking for a talented individual to manage and develop relationships with their clients and collaborate closely across the organisation to provide a consistently high level of service.
This role is hybrid, 3-4 days in office.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Building relationships with clients, managing day-to-day interactions while supporting the development of new relationships
- Developing relationships to a ‘partnership’ engagement
- Driving increased engagement between the clients and company, ensuring clients are satisfied with the services they receive
- Acting as the voice of the client, communicating their needs to internal teams to influence the continued development of the product offering
- Owning project management throughout the life cycle from a client commercial agreement to end-delivery, collaborating both with clients and colleagues
- Presenting and leading client meetings in multiple different forums
- Driving client adoption, value and outcomes leading to renewals of engagement, expansion of scope, and advocacy
- Becoming a product expert on the company platform
- Producing customised client presentations and developing client materials
- Working with key stakeholders to support materials required for internal committees or regulatory responses
- Constantly improving your industry knowledge through webinars / events / readings
The skills you need to bring:
- 5-10 years’ professional experience in a relationship manager role either within a bank or within the financial services practice of a consulting firm / analytics company
- A strong understanding of the banking industry (Corporate and Investment Banking, Retail Banking, Asset Management)
- Effective, sharp, clear and succinct communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong presentation skills, including to senior client stakeholders
- A passion for providing high-quality service to clients, relationship building, problem solving and teamwork
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage a portfolio of multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to determine a client’s goals / objectives, desired outcomes and success measures, predict roadblocks and address them before they even occur
