Our client is a senior figure operating across public-facing, commercial and personal spheres and is seeking a highly capable and trusted Private Business PA. This is a unique and fascinating opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and autonomy in their work.
Working pattern: 2.5 days per week | 1 day per week in the office (N1)
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Overseeing and coordinating an exceptionally busy diary across multiple locations
- Acting as a key liaison between different offices and external stakeholders
- Managing complex UK and international travel logistics
- Handling bookkeeping, budgeting and financial reconciliations (with Accountant)
- Liaising with accountants, lawyers, financial advisers and pension providers
- Overseeing expense allocation across multiple interests
- Setting up and maintaining efficient filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Managing contact databases and seasonal correspondence
- Supporting client relationship management, invoicing and contract standardisation
- Working closely with a charitable arts organisation on fundraising initiatives
- Managing household administration for multiple properties, including suppliers, insurance and maintenance
- Coordinating personal commitments, holidays, anniversaries and family logistics
- Keeping IT systems, desks and project tracking organised and up to date
The skills you’ll bring:
- Proven experience providing high-level PA support at senior level
- Strong financial understanding and familiarity working with accounting packages (or happy to learn)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
- High level of digital competence and systems confidence
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- A calm, proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Discretion, professionalism and absolute confidentiality
- Interest in science-led or innovation-focused sectors (highly advantageous)
- Degree-educated or equivalent professional experience
