Our client is an established strategic communications consultancy; they are seeking an experienced Senior Account Director to join its central London team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic, creative, self-starting strategic advisor to provide senior counsel to CEOs and high-profile clients across corporate, private office, life sciences and litigation/crisis communications.
You will lead the development of compelling communications strategies, oversee integrated campaigns, build trusted client relationships and manage day-to-day account delivery. Working closely with the firm's founder and senior leadership, you will also play a key role in mentoring teams, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the consultancy's continued growth.
The role will involve:
- Producing comprehensively thought out and brilliantly written strategy documents for delivery and presentation to CEO level clients
- Generating creative ideas and content for campaigns and comms activations across all platforms
- Developing trusted personal relationships with clients
- Supporting CP Founder and Managing Partner across all client work
- Overseeing day to day account management including workflow, deadlines and reporting processes
- Line managing the research and freelance consultant team, including oversight of daily/weekly monitoring reports and processes
- Identifying new business leads and supporting marketing activity
The skills you’ll bring:
- 8–10 years' experience across media, corporate communications and/or politics
- A proven track record of leading high-impact communications campaigns
- Exceptional writing, strategic thinking and presentation skills
- Strong client leadership experience at CEO and senior executive level
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Knowledge of social media, content creation, and the evolving impact of AI on reputation management
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding attention to detail
