Our client is seeking a capable and hands-on Company Secretary to deliver company secretarial, governance and property governance administration across a multi-entity group. This is a practical, operational role offering real breadth, senior exposure and long-term stability within a collaborative environment.
This is a broad and rewarding governance role for someone who enjoys structure, responsibility and working closely with senior decision-makers, while maintaining rigorous standards across corporate and property administration.
Hybrid working, 5 days a week, with three days per week in the office.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Organising Board and Committee meetings, including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking
- Maintaining statutory registers, subsidiary records and corporate governance documentation
- Managing Companies House filings, confirmations and corporate changes
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of the AGM, including notices, documentation and formal records
- Supporting shareholder communications, share register administration and related queries
- Drafting resolutions and coordinating with external legal advisers
- Acting as custodian of corporate legal documentation and governance records
- Maintaining a central property register covering leases, licences and related documentation
- Tracking lease events, including expiries, breaks and renewals, and flagging required actions
- Preparing Property Committee papers and minutes
- Coordinating approvals for acquisitions, disposals and refurbishments
- Supporting CPSE enquiries and execution of property legal documentation
- Maintaining historical property records, contracts and warranties
- Providing governance data to support valuations and financial reporting
The skills you need to bring:
- Strong company secretarial or governance administration experience
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience managing structured documentation and statutory records digitally
- Confidence working across multiple systems and liaising with Finance, Legal and Property teams
- Experience with Companies House online filings
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including modern productivity and AI tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
- Property documentation experience would be advantageous
