Are you an ambitious Investment professional with 3-5 years in investment analysis or portfolio management? As a Senior Investment Analyst, you will help lead the end-to-end investment process – from monitoring and rebalancing portfolios to conducting deep-dive analytics and ensuring high-quality data across all systems. You’ll contribute directly to portfolio implementation, client reporting, and process improvement, acting as a trusted resource for internal teams and clients.
The role:
- Portfolio Management & Oversight
- Monitor portfolios for drift, breaches, and risk-limit issues - proactively escalating where needed
- Analyse performance drivers, asset allocation, and portfolio suitability
- Support the Deputy CIO in the oversight of complex or bespoke portfolios
- Trade Execution & Portfolio Implementation
- Prepare, validate, and implement rebalancing instructions across custodians and platforms
- Execute underlying fund or security changes in line with model updates and client requirements
- Oversee operational elements of portfolio transitions
- Investment Analysis & Reporting
- Produce client reports, performance summaries, proposals, and due-diligence materials
- Support RFP processes and business development activities
- Conduct portfolio analytics, attribution, and data-driven investment insights
- Data, Systems & Process Excellence
- Ensure accuracy of investment data across internal and external systems
- Contribute to automation and workflow enhancements using Excel, Power Query, Python, SQL or APIs
- Assist in governance reviews, product assessments and breach remediation
- Internal & Client Stakeholder Support
- Act as a knowledgeable contact point for Client Managers on all portfolio activity.
- Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders on changes, risks, and issues.
- Represent the investment desk when deputising for senior team members.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in investment analysis or portfolio management
- Strong background in multi-asset portfolios, ETFs, and index-based strategies
- Experience in trade execution, portfolio rebalancing and suitability assessment
- Comfortable working with large datasets and managing investment reporting workflows
- Level 4 investment qualification (e.g., CISI, IMC) and relevant FCA approvals
- Advanced Excel, plus experience in Python, SQL, Power Query or APIs (advantageous)
- Strong skills in Bloomberg and FE Analytics
- Working knowledge of PMS systems, platforms, and risk tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership mindset - supporting mentoring and driving the team forward
- Outstanding attention to detail and numerical precision

- Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work to tight deadlines
