Salary: Up to £58,000

Are you an experienced office manager, who brings energy and order to a growing tech / management consultancy business? Do you want a role you can own, where you can shape workplace strategy and culture? Do you have experience of building strong relationships with employees and stakeholders? Have you run health and safety, built and managed supplier relationships, created a blueprint for travel and other business operations to create a future-proofed smooth operation for a corporate? And, are you happy to travel globally when required?

This is far from the traditional office management role. You will be stepping into a broad, visible, high impact role where you’ll shape the day-to-day experience of the people in the firm and contribute to the continued growth of the business. In office 5 days a week, gorgeous offices in Euston.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Owning the day-to-day management of the London office
  • Managing supplier relationships and contracts
  • Driving operational improvements and implementing best practices
  • Supporting office projects including refurbishments
  • Leading and developing a globally distributed support team
  • Creating an exceptional employee and visitor experience
  • Supporting on and off boarding
  • Leading company events, well-being initiatives and social activities
  • Driving engagement programmes and recognition initiatives
  • Chairing and leading the social committee
  • Owning health and safety compliance across the London office
  • Managing the workplace risk assessments and compliance
  • Being the lead Fire Marshal and First Aider
  • Supporting the business continuity and emergency procedures
  • Negotiating costs for and coordinating travel arrangements
  • Supporting finance administration, reporting and expenditure
  • Assisting with internal communications and company marketing

The skills you need to bring:

  • Strong experience managing a corporate fast paced office
  • Experience of managing vendor relationships and negotiating
  • Experience leading and rolling out projects
  • Strong financial awareness
  • Confident and professional with strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The mind set to solve problems and deliver a high-quality service
  • Diplomatic, discrete and strong leadership skills
  • Flexibility to travel within UK or overseas
  • Experienced in office moves and workplace transformation projects
  • Ideally with First Aid and Health and safety qualifications
