Are you a Senior Executive Assistant who has managed an EA team, with strong experience supporting at true C-suite level? You’ll be leading a team of EAs – so experience of managing a team is imperative here. Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-trust environment where discretion, judgement and emotional intelligence are essential? Are you always one step ahead, able to anticipate needs and bring calm structure to an ever-moving diary?
Our client is a global financial services organisation seeking an exceptional EA to provide high-level executive and business support. This is a pivotal role within a senior leadership team, supporting a demanding and highly respected Executive who operates at pace. This is a rare opportunity for a confident, experienced EA who enjoys autonomy, responsibility and acting as a true partner to a C-suite leader whilst leading the corporate culture and EA team. Office based with flexibility (typically four days per week) depending on business needs.
What you’ll be doing day to day:
- Managing a busy, ever-changing diary at C-suite level
- Leading the team of EAs and embedding strong corporate culture, wellness and happiness
- Introducing new processes to ensure operational excellence
- Working with procurement to ensure operational costs are being managed
- Preparing board packs, presentations and senior-level documentation
- Acting as a trusted gatekeeper, managing information flow with absolute confidentiality
- Anticipating needs and ensuring the Executive is always one step ahead
- Coordinating complex meetings with senior stakeholders
- Providing wider business and operational support within the HR function
- Maintaining accurate systems, documents and processes
- Being a calm, proactive presence in a high-performance environment
The skills you need to bring:
- Extensive EA experience supporting senior leaders at C-suite level
- Previous experience leading a team essential, ideally within financial or professional services
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with experience preparing board-level materials
- Exceptional discretion, judgement and professionalism
- The confidence to work independently
- A proactive, organised and anticipatory approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted senior relationships
- A warm, approachable style combined with resilience and maturity
