Events Executive, Central London – Hybrid
Up to £37,000 + bonus + benefits
Do you have 2 years’ experience of managing professional business events? Have you had responsibility for the end-to-end management of events up to 100 attendees? Are you methodical, highly organised with excellent project management skills? Can you think on your feet and remain calm when plans are changing? Do you have strong attention to detail and good proof reading skills? Are you a confident communicator and a collaborative team player who’s keen to learn and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment?
A leading membership organisation in the private capital arena is looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful individual who will take pride in delivering events to a very high standard to join their Events Team. The majority of events will take place in London with some events requiring travel within the UK.
What you’ll be doing day-to-day:
- Full end-to-end event planning, management and delivery of designated events
- Sourcing and booking venues and suppliers
- Liaising with the marketing team to ensure all event marketing activities are completed
- Liaising with venues on setup, catering and audio-visual requirements
- Researching, arranging and managing speakers for events
- Collecting event feedback and producing debrief reports
- Delegate management; including event bookings and correspondence
- Maintaining records of attendee numbers and sales in CRM Evovos and relevant spreadsheets
- Working on-site ensuring the smooth delivery of all events
- Wrapping up post event including full evaluation and reporting
- Ensuring the CRM is updated
- Managing expenditure against event budgets and providing status report to Events Director post events
The skills you need to bring:
- Previous experience of the full end to end process of managing professional business events for 100 attendees
- Excellent organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards
- Excellent writing, presentation and proof-reading skills with a high attention to detail
- Confident communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Competency using Zoom or an event platform
- Experience of using both a CRM such as Microsoft Dynamics along with a CMS platform
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Professional appearance and personal skills to act as an ambassador to both internal and external stakeholders
- Positive and proactive attitude
