As part of on going work to our new automated warehouse located in Bardon, Leicestershire, we need a team of hands of colleagues to work in our testing area! This role will see you be part of seeing new automation systems come to life. In and around your day-to-day tasks you'll be alert and ready to tackle any challenge. We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. And without the great teams at our warehouses, there'd be no products in those stores. Key Responsibilities Follow instructions carefully and double-check paperwork for accuracy Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently (training provided) Opportunities in our Ambient and Chiller sections Skills & Experience Hardworking and ready for a physical, fast paced role Reliable and flexible with a can-do attitude in a fast-moving environment Strong attention to detail, especially when picking stock Benefits £13.31 per hour Start Time: 11am start, changing to 12 noon start once the project has been completed. Shift time based on 8 hours per day, however the end time may vary depending on the needs of the business Shift Rota: 5 days out of 7.
