A role in the National Supply Chain Replenishment Team is a great opportunity to play a key part in shaping the future department and its ways of working. You will gain valuable experience working on a global transformation project and become a real expert at the end of it. You will form relationships with GB/IE colleagues across all domains and also across the Aldi global network of countries.
You will be instrumental in the use of the new Replenishment systems, working closely with other teams with NSCM, National Buying, NIT and Store Operations. As the department and the AHEAD program evolves, so will the role. As such you will require a proactive approach and a high level of multi-tasking and resilience. The role would require someone confident working with data and analysing trends and making recommendations. Who has experience in using the forecasting modules within SAP in order to maximise the system. A confident individual with great communication skills would also be ideally suited to this opportunity. Occasional weekend work will be required for this role. This role is an 18-month FTC.
Your New Role
- Responsibility of the operational execution and monitoring of Core Range Articles (PTZ / Stock Held) to stores
- Planning and managing allocations to ensure Stores receive the correct volumes of Articles
- Monitoring and actioning reports within the relevant area of responsibility, such as allocation accuracy & Out of Stock
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement and management of all levels of the business
- Daily communication with internal departments such as RDA, Replenishment DC, FDA and Buying
- Continuous improvement within role, simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies
- Plan and execute business-wide replenishment strategies and proactively adjust based on changing market conditions at Store, Regional and National level
- Being the primary contact for all stakeholders for any related queries and resolution support
- Daily usage of SAP Application, Master Data, Tableau, and other analytic applications
About You
- Professional work experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Relationship building, organised, problem-solving
- Knowledge of Supply Chain systems (SAP, Demand Planning systems/TMS/WMS/Portals etc.)
- Confidence and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels
- Ability to adapt quickly to change, managing change effectively and with a positive attitude
- Organisational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities
- Innate curiosity: always striving to improve and simplify processes and ensure consistency wherever possible
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task, be pro-active and work on own initiative
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel and Word
- Taking ownership and accountability of their area of responsibility
- Ability to investigate and analyse challenges and offer solutions
- A desire for continued personal development
What Youll get in Return
Salary starting £37,545 - £43,840 Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working (Moving to 1 day remote working from January 2027) 5 weeks annual leave plus
