National IT have an exciting opportunity for a talented IT Professional to join the NIT Bardon Project Team. The role will initially support the project team from a software and automation testing perspective whilst then transitioning to onsite software and hardware support for the Bardon Distribution Centre (DC) once live.The ideal candidate will have experience of working within automated distribution center’s and providing IT support to the DC end users from a software and hardware perspective. Knowledge and experience of working with IT teams to deliver successful software transformations is required. Experience with integrating and/or operating Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems into Automated Warehouses and the Warehouse Control Systems is desirable. You will ensure constructive working relationships are maintained with internal and external stakeholders of all levels. The role will involve working closely with the business, IIT and our 3rd party suppliers, ensuring projects, are delivered and transition to BAU in a controlled manner.It is envisaged that the successful candidate will have strong previous experience in a similar role and must have experience of working as part of an IT support function within an automated DC.Candidates will be located in Atherstone whilst the site is being constructed and then based permanently at Bardon.
