Your New Role

  • Effectively manage and control inbound supply by liaising closely with Supply Chain, Buying, Suppliers, Logistics and Merchandising to meet agreed KPIs and timelines consistently.
  • Collaborate proactively with suppliers to optimise their production and distribution planning into RDCs, supporting smooth inbound flow and availability.
  • Monitor supplier compliance against performance KPIs and engage regularly with forecast data to support production and distribution planning alignment.
  • Maintain consistent product availability throughout the year, with particular focus on peak periods such as Christmas and other key events.
  • Engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to ensure clear communication, strong relationship management, and excellent service standards.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to simplify operations, enhance efficiency, and reduce inconsistencies.
  • Support the delivery of the departmental strategy and assist Buying teams by monitoring and reporting on supplier performance and inbound stock.

About You

  • Experience in supply chain environments, ideally in planning or supplier management.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain operations, including inbound, production, and distribution.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and collaboration.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement through problem solving.
  • Exceptional and adaptable communicator, able to articulate complex ideas, both verbally and in writing, with clarity and tailor messaging to effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Skilled relationship builder who navigates internally and externally with confidence, collaborating effectively while holding others accountable.
  • Highly organised multitasker, juggling priorities, deadlines, and projects in a demanding environment without missing a beat.

  • Knowledge of supply chain systems (Demand Planning, TMS, WMS, portals).

What You’ll get in Return

  • Salary starting from £37,545 rising to £43,840.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working (changing to 1 day a week remote working from January 2027).
  • 5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
