Are you a dynamic marketing leader with a passion for retail and challenging the status quo? Aldi UK is seeking a talented Marketing Director to take charge of our brand development, strategy, end to end creative campaigns, and customer insight programme. This is an incredible opportunity to drive the Aldi brand forward in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
Working closely with the Marketing Director for Channels and Delivery, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the overall marketing strategy across the Aldi UK brand. Your leadership will inspire and coordinate end-to-end campaign development and delivery. You will harness customer insights and analytics to inform decision-making and boost brand engagement.
Your role will be pivotal in driving Aldi’s difference and distinctiveness to the wider sector, creating cut through and engagement with Aldi shoppers and delivering commercial outcomes for the business… in that extra special, cheeky Aldi kind of way 😉
Your New Role
- Lead the development and execution of Aldi’s brand strategy in the UK, engaging internationally as required
- Oversee marketing campaigns end to end to engage and grow our customer base
- Drive customer research initiatives and leverage analytics for actionable insights
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency
- Manage Aldi’s marketing and media budgets
About You
- Proven leadership experience in a senior marketing role within retail
- Prior Marketing experience in a consumer brand or agency
- Strong track record of leading brand development and successful marketing campaigns
- Expertise in customer research methodologies and data analytics
- Experienced in managing large marketing budgets
- Experienced at using insights and data to form marketing strategies
- A strategic thinker who can work dynamically in a high-energy environment
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Thrive in a fast-paced retail setting with agility and innovation.
- Experience in a fast-paced Food Retail environment (Desirable)
