The predicted salary is between 50000 - 60000 £ per year.

Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:00pm - Monday to Friday with the opportunity for remote working up to 2 days per week (Moving to 1 day remote working from January 2027).

Reporting to the Director of Buying and leading a team of Assistant Buyers, the successful candidate will help to drive sales, profitability and category management working with the national and international suppliers.

Role overview
  • People management: manage and foster the development of Assistant Buyers.
  • Supplier Management: manage the day-to-day supply partner relationships.
  • Category Management: have a detailed understanding of the product range both internally & externally.
  • Produce timely and accurate business forecasts, including financial forecasts to enable targets to be met.
  • Presenting: prepare and deliver presentations utilizing data from multiple sources concisely.
  • Decision Making: be capable of making quick decisions based on complex information.
  • Negotiation: plan, prepare and carry out negotiation to secure exciting products at the best price.
  • Range management: aid the Buying Director on existing and future ranges through utilising several data sources.
