About the role: As the Head of Lifestyles for our residents living with dementia, you will play a vital role in curating and coordinating a wide range of engaging and meaningful activities that enrich their daily lives. Your efforts will help foster a vibrant and stimulating environment, promoting both fun and connection. In addition, you will provide compassionate one-on-one support and companionship to residents who may not be able to participate in group activities, ensuring they feel valued and supported. You will also play a key role in monitoring and adapting activities to maintain their relevance and impact.
Here's some other important things you need to know:
- You must be alert at all times to our residents' physical and mental well-being.
- Organise and accompany Residents, where possible, to off-site activities, which may occasionally take place out of normal working hours.
- Understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Homes Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures.
- Previous experience is desired but not essential.
