This is an exciting opportunity to join our Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) team at a time of real evolution. You will play a key role in developing and enhancing our CTI capability, helping to build an enterprise intelligence function across the bank and supporting a truly threat-informed approach to security operations. You will work at the heart of our Security Operations function, turning complex threat data into clear, actionable intelligence that helps keep our customers, colleagues and services safe.

With a mix of project work and BAU activity, you will see the visible impact of what you do – from shaping how we defend against emerging threats to influencing the way we test and improve our controls. You will bring previous experience in tactical or operational CTI roles and be familiar with enterprise-level threat intelligence platforms, using them to drive meaningful action across security operations and strengthen our overall security posture.

What will your day look like?

  • Monitor the cyber threat landscape, identifying new and emerging threats that could impact Aldermore Group and our customers.
  • Collect, analyse and interpret threat data from multiple internal and external sources.
  • Produce intelligence products across tactical, operational and strategic levels.
  • Track relevant adversary groups using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Maintain and develop a CTI reference library.
  • Work closely with colleagues and third-party providers.
  • Support threat-intelligence-driven security testing, including red and purple teaming.

  • A genuine interest in cyber security and threat intelligence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating and delivering actionable threat intelligence products.
  • Ability to analyse multiple sources of data and create timely, accurate insights.
  • Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, DeTT&CT, D3FEND and the Cyber Kill Chain.
  • Curiosity to research new and emerging threat actors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
