This is an exciting opportunity to join Aldermore as a Customer Performance & Analytics Specialist within our Group Marketing team. Working as part of the Customer Strategy & Insight function, you'll help turn customer, behavioural and commercial data into meaningful insight that supports better business decisions and commercial growth.

This role offers the chance to combine technical skills, analytical thinking and commercial awareness. You'll work with customer and performance data to uncover trends, identify opportunities and help shape marketing activity, proposition development and audience strategies. You'll also have the opportunity to develop expertise in tools such as SQL, SAS or Python while exploring how AI and automation can improve reporting and analytical efficiency.

What will your day look like?

  • Support audience analysis using customer, behavioural and commercial data to answer business questions and inform marketing, proposition and commercial activity.
  • Prepare data, carry out analysis and produce clear insight outputs, reports and presentations that help stakeholders understand what is changing and what action to take.
  • Support the development and maintenance of audience segmentations, dashboards and analytical frameworks. Monitor audience and performance data to identify trends, opportunities and risks, escalating key findings where appropriate.
  • Support test-and-learn activity by helping define KPIs, track performance and evaluate outcomes. Produce regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis to support business priorities and day-to-day decision-making.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Customer Strategy & Insight, Marketing, Product, Commercial and Data teams to understand requirements and deliver valuable analysis.
  • Use analytics, reporting and automation tools to improve efficiency while maintaining strong governance and data quality standards.

What do we expect from you?

  • Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: SQL, SAS or Python.
  • Experience in analytics, insight or a related commercial, customer, marketing or data-focused role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in segmentation, performance analysis, testing or audience insight.
  • Knowledge of analytical tools and techniques, with the ability to extract, manipulate, analyse and present data.
  • Experience producing reporting, dashboards or insight outputs that support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • The ability to communicate analysis clearly and adapt messages for different audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, a disciplined approach to quality and a desire to learn and develop.
