You’ll be a system and data subject matter expert, with a particular focus on QRM and associated data feeds. The role supports important Finance activity including ALM, Regulatory Reporting, Hedge Accounting and Forecasting, making this a great opportunity for someone with a highly technical, Treasury-focused skillset to make a lasting impact in a permanent role.

What will your day look like?

  • Develop and implement enhancements, updates and new initiatives across the QRM system once you’re up to speed.
  • Understand how position data feeds from systems including Mortgages, Savings and Treasury translate into QRM data feeds.
  • Contribute to, or own, aspects of QRM development, including requirements gathering, design and build, UAT, project management, governance and documentation.
  • Support system and data validation, development and design across the wider team.
  • Train and support advanced QRM users, helping colleagues get the best from the system and understand how it works where needed.
  • Build strong working relationships with QRM stakeholders, from daily users through to senior management.
  • Play an active role in the Finance and Treasury product squad, occasionally supporting other projects that make use of your skills and interests outside QRM.

What do we expect from you?

  • Strong understanding of financial and risk data, and how these interact with different financial products.
  • A high level of expertise with QRM or similar ALM systems, including experience developing in a professional capacity.
  • Knowledge and experience of source system feeds such as Murex, Transact and Finova, and how these translate into position data.
  • Experience in Financial Services in a similar role, ideally within a retail bank or building society, whether as a consultant, contractor or in-house colleague.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical detail clearly to different audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Strong numeracy, with a good grounding in STEM subjects.

  • A hybrid working policy, 3 days per week onsite in one of our offices.
  • A friendly and flexible culture, the same as how we work with our customers.
  • A growing organisation that means there’s lots of opportunities to progress.
  • A drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one.
