Instead, you'll work autonomously, taking a consultative approach to managing your portfolio, building trusted relationships and influencing outcomes through effective negotiation and collaboration.

You'll play a key role in maximising recoveries while balancing customer, dealer and business needs, with the freedom to make informed decisions and take ownership of your accounts from start to finish.

What will your day look like?

  • Manage a portfolio of dealer and broker accounts, working collaboratively to recover outstanding balances and minimise potential losses
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Dealers, Brokers and Field teams, becoming a trusted point of contact within your region
  • Use your judgement to assess complex cases where standard collection activities have been exhausted and recommend the most appropriate next steps
  • Work closely with Account Managers and wider business stakeholders to ensure a joined-up, customer-focused approach
  • Identify trends and patterns within account activity, proactively managing risks and escalating concerns where appropriate
  • Produce regular weekly and monthly MI, providing clear insights into cash recovery performance, portfolio activity and key outcomes
  • Take ownership of your portfolio, prioritising activity effectively and managing your workload independently

What do we expect from you?

  • Experience in collections, complaints handling, account management or another customer-facing role would be beneficial
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to achieve positive outcomes while maintaining relationships
  • A consultative approach, able to build credibility and trust with a range of stakeholders
  • Confidence in making decisions and managing your own workload with a high degree of autonomy
  • A genuine customer-first mindset, balancing commercial outcomes with fair customer treatment
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable handling challenging conversations and navigating complex situations

What can you expect from us?

  • Hybrid working policy (2 days onsite in our central Cardiff office and 3 days at home)
  • Competitive salary and a great range of core benefits including; annual bonus, 10% employer contribution pension, private medical with BUPA and 38 days holiday (inc. bank holidays)
  • A friendly and flexible culture, the same as how we work with our customers
  • A growing organisation that means there’s lots of opportunities to progress
  • A drive for continuous improvement, which you will be empowered to get behind from day one
