We're looking for a proactive and self‑motivated External Auditor to join our Motor Finance team. This is a field‑based role covering the South East, where you'll take ownership of your own dealer portfolio, schedule and complete onsite audits, and play a key role in protecting MotoNovo's financial security. This is an exciting opportunity if you enjoy autonomy, variety, and work that genuinely influences risk decisions and business performance.
What will your day look like?
- Managing your own allocated portfolio of dealer accounts across the South East.
- Planning and carrying out onsite audits to ensure funding facilities remain secure and compliant with policy.
- Assessing risk indicators, identifying concerns early and escalating where appropriate.
- Acting as a subject matter expert for the Dealer Funding product, using industry insight to support its improvement and long‑term development.
- Providing clear, accurate and constructive feedback to dealers and internal teams, ensuring risk is correctly evaluated and well understood.
- Building strong working relationships with dealer partners, field teams and head office colleagues to support smooth audit delivery.
- Producing high‑quality insights on portfolio performance, risk concentration and emerging trends.
- Promoting a culture of risk awareness and collaborative working across Dealer Funding, Sales and 2LOD Risk.
- Planning your own workload, travel and overnights effectively, ensuring risk‑based scheduling and good forecasting.
What do we expect from you?
- Understanding of the Motor Dealer Funding sector.
- Experience in audit, stock control or credit control.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders.
- Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience delivering operational controls and accurately interpreting risk indicators.
- A full UK driving licence.
