The Class Teachershould have experience of teaching, which may include experience of workingwith children with a range of needs
Knowledge andunderstanding of the ability to think creatively across the whole curriculum.
Provide support forthe individual needs of all the children (e.g. classroom organisation andlearning strategies).
Understanding of the Statutory National Curriculum developmentand the processes that can be used to raise standards of achievement.
Monitoring,assessment, recording and reporting of pupils’ progress.
The statutoryrequirements of legislation concerning Equal Opportunities, Health andSafety, SEN and Child Protection.
Positive linksnecessary within school and with all its stakeholders.
Effective teachingand learning styles and confident use of ICT to support learning.
Promote the school’saim positively, and use effective strategies to monitor motivation and morale
Develop good personalrelationships within a team
Establish and developclose relationships with parents, governors and the community
Communicateeffectively (both orally and in writing) to a variety of audiences
