We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and proactive Food Technology Technician to support our busy Food Technology department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a practical environment and is passionate about supporting high-quality teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will be required to support the teaching of Food and Textiles sessions across Key Stage 3 and 4. You will provide day to day technical support, develop and prepare associated equipment, ingredients, facilities and materials for use by the teacher and students whilst maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment.
Previous experience of working in a school and possession of a current Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate would be advantageous but are not essential as full training will be given.
