Alderman Jacobs is a vibrant and popular three form entry school with its own pre-school located in the market town of Whittlesey, just 6 miles from Peterborough. The school was rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted (March 2023) with inspectors reporting that Alderman Jacobs is a welcoming and happy place where pupils enjoy their learning. All aspects of school life reflect the school’s vision of developing ‘energy for life, learning and the environment’ underpinned by values of teamwork, resilience and kindness. The school is a member of the Soke Education Trust and works collaboratively with five primary schools in Peterborough supported by an experienced and growing central team.
We currently have an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated and creative staff team as Class Teacher. Applications would be welcomed from Early Career Teachers. The post could be in Early Years, Key Stage 1 or 2, depending upon the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
