We are seeking an enthusiastic, team‑orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Alder Vets on a full‑time basis. We have two well‑established surgeries in Lincolnshire market towns of Spalding and Bourne, each with a loyal client base of over 20 years. Both practices are equipped with digital radiography; Spalding has recently upgraded to the CSDR small‑animal DR system X‑ray, each branch has modern ultrasound machines and dental X‑ray in the Bourne branch, in‑house blood testing equipment, and spacious theatres and consult rooms for varied first‑opinion cases. The Spalding branch has recently been refurbished to a high‑spec finish and the Bourne branch will follow suit.

Our friendly team comprises 4 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 experienced Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 Student Nurse, and a full team of Receptionists. None of us could perform our jobs properly without each other. How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences. You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first‑opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

Working Hours

This is a full‑time role worked across four 10‑hour shifts per week, with one weekday off to support a healthy work‑life balance. There is also participation in a Saturday rota of 1 in 5 Saturdays, consisting of a 4‑hour shift. There are no out‑of‑hours or bank holiday requirements.
