PURPOSE OF ROLE
At Senior Chartered Building Surveyor level, you will lead and manage a range of building surveying services across multiple projects. You will provide professional advice on property and construction matters, including design, maintenance, refurbishment, and compliance. This role requires strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct building surveys, inspections, and condition assessments across commercial property portfolios.
- Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and schedules of work.
- Manage refurbishment, maintenance, and repair projects from inception to completion.
- Advise on building regulations, planning permissions, and health.
You should have excellent prioritisation, time management, negotiation and organisation skills and attention to detail. Possess excellent communication and inter-personal skills and deliver information clearly and succinctly. Be proactive and receptive to change, hold a positive ‘can do’ attitude and uphold the highest level of professionalism at all times. Hold a valid UK driving licence.
PRIMARY LOCATION
The role will be based within the Bristol office. However, due to the nature of our business you may be required to work in other offices from time to time.
