To provide general agency and administrative support to the Partner based in Taunton dealing with commercial property and land transactions.
Responsibilities
- Undertake viewings at various commercial properties across the area and occasionally further afield.
- Undertake inspections taking measurements, photos and notes.
- Preparation of particulars. Attend premises on site to allow access to contractors.
- Organise marketing boards for properties and advertising in various media. Enter, manage and audit information for properties advertised on various websites.
- Database management for all jobs, properties, clients and applicants.
- Answer telephone and website enquiries in a timely manner and process as appropriate.
- Undertake follow up calls of interested parties.
- Assistance with consultancy-based advice – either by telephone, internet or physical visits.
- Update occupier lists.
- General oversight and management of internal systems, procedures and tasks.
- Assist the Head of Taunton with the organisation of their appointments and workstreams.
- Uphold the Firm\’s values during both internal and external dealings.
- Consistently produce high quality work which, at a minimum, meets client\’s expectations. In addition, work collaboratively with third parties as appropriate to ensure you exceed client requirements.
- Willingly share relevant and appropriate knowledge with colleagues and support their development as required.
You need not have prior agency-specific experience to apply, as we will support you with a full training programme upon appointment, although previous experience within the property industry would be advantageous. Prior knowledge of/work experience in the property industry is desirable but not essential.
Qualifications
- A background in a role that involves providing administrative support and managing schedules is highly desirable.
- Be educated to A Level standard.
- Fluent with all Microsoft 365 packages and relevant to the role IT packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint).
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A highly motivated commercial approach, with ability to work as part of a team and be a self-starter working on your own initiative.
- Have resilience to work under pressure; have excellent prioritisation, time management, negotiation and organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication and inter‑personal skills and deliver information clearly and succinctly.
- Be proactive and receptive to change, hold a positive \’can do\’ attitude and uphold the highest level of professionalism at all times.
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
Primary Location
The role will be based within Taunton (with flexible working options). This role is fully remote, so candidates must be comfortable working from home full time. There may be opportunities to work from our regional offices when feasible.
