We have an exciting opportunity to join the Cheshire and Merseyside Specialist Speech and Language Therapy Network for Deaf People. If you have a passion for working in the field of Deafness, then we have the vacancy for you. We are looking to appoint a Highly Specialist SLT and welcome applications from candidates with highly specialist skills as well as those aspiring to develop their knowledge and experience in this clinical area, through a dedicated competency framework, with access to supervision, focused CPD activities, and a clear pathway for training (including BSL Levels 1 and 2).
As part of the Cheshire and Merseyside SLT Network for Deaf People, you will work for Alder Hey Foundation Trust in Liverpool, serving children, young people, adults, and their families across various settings. You will be part of a team of passionate Highly Specialist SLTs, providing specialist assessment and intervention, training local professionals, and working collaboratively with education and audiology colleagues.
You will manage a complex caseload, using evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions. You will support differential diagnosis and co-occurring conditions like Autism and Speech Disorders, and contribute to service development and quality improvement projects.
