An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Grants Officer to join Alder Hey Children's Charity, supporting the delivery of approximately £5m in grant funding each year. The role plays a key part in the charity's grant development and awarding processes, working closely with Trust colleagues on applications and awards, and collaborating with fundraising teams to support donor engagement and stewardship.
The post holder will also support the Grants Manager in developing effective systems and processes, including maintaining accurate records on Salesforce. The Senior Grants Officer will oversee application pipelines, support grant assessments, and act as a key point of contact for applicants, ensuring a smooth and effective grant-making process.
They will contribute to performance monitoring, continuous improvement and the development of grant programmes aligned with charity priorities, while building strong relationships with stakeholders and supporting a collaborative, one-team approach across the organisation.
