The Role

Our prestigious client is seeking a Senior L&D Partner (Sales) to drive corporate learning and workforce development growth.

You will own and grow key corporate accounts, develop new business and build strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.

You will sell and develop solutions including

  • Leadership & Management Development Level 5 & Level 7 programmes

  • Bespoke corporate training solutions

This is a consultative, strategic sales role.

You will understand the customer's business, people strategy, skills gaps and future workforce needs, then shape the right learning solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver strategic sales and account-growth plans.
  • Own and expand a portfolio of high-value corporate clients.
  • Build a strong new-business pipeline and consistently deliver revenue targets.
  • Conduct strategic client reviews, Training Needs Analysis and discovery meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling and new learning solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Develop bespoke learning academies, skills pathways and workforce development solutions.
  • Sell complex L&D and apprenticeship solutions, including Level 5 and Level 7 programmes.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and reporting.
  • Work with internal academic, marketing and delivery teams to develop compelling customer propositions.
  • Keep up to date with L&D, skills, apprenticeship and workforce development trends and policy.
  • The Person

We are looking for a proven L&D sales professional with a strong commercial track record. Ideally, you will have:

  • Significant experience in corporate L&D, apprenticeship, training or workforce development sales.
  • Experience selling to senior management and strategic decision-makers.
  • A strong consultative and solution-based sales approach.
  • Experience of Training Needs Analysis, skills pathways and organisational development.
  • Experience selling Level 5 and/or Level 7 programmes.
  • A background in apprenticeship sales would be highly advantageous.
  • Proven experience managing and growing significant corporate accounts.
  • A track record of generating a £200k+ annual client portfolio or equivalent revenue performance.
  • Excellent strategic account management and new-business development skills.
  • The confidence to have high-level commercial conversations and challenge customers appropriately.
  • Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and influencing skills.
