Shift patterns: 5 on 3 off shift pattern. Start times vary between 05:00, 06:00, and 07:00. Shift schedules are provided to drivers a few days in advance. Pay rates: 18.70 GBP hourly. Essential requirements for HGV 2 DRIVER
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Minimum 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience.
- No more than 3 penalty points on your driving licence.
- Able to provide a 5-year employment history, and pass a DBS check.
- Willing to complete the CO (Cargo Operative) Course (training provided).
- Must have the right to work in the UK (applicants on a Student Visa are not eligible).
Desirable requirements for HGV 2 DRIVER
- Previous experience working in an airport, transport, or logistics environment.
- Experience with heavy manual handling and physically demanding tasks.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
- Good knowledge of Gatwick Airport and the surrounding road network.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet delivery schedules.
- A proactive and reliable approach, with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
