Haymarket Block Management, proudly part of the X1 Group, is looking for a dedicated Caretaker to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day upkeep and presentation of one of our flagship residential estates.
About the Role
As a key member of our Estates Team, you will ensure the buildings and grounds remain safe, clean, and well-maintained for our residents and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- General maintenance and minor repair work
- Painting and touch-ups to maintain internal and external appearance
- Small grounds work, such as sweeping and light landscaping
- Bin store management to ensure hygiene and accessibility
- Parcel management for residents
- Maintaining the aesthetics of communal areas
- Weekly fire safety checks and reporting any issues promptly
What We're Looking For
- A proactive and hands-on approach
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
- Previous caretaking or maintenance experience is desirable, but not essential
- A friendly, approachable manner - you'll be a familiar and trusted face around the estates
