Level 2

19.5 (Wed, Thur & Fri) or 32.5 hrs per week

Start date: November 2026 – fixed term in the first instance until 31 July 2027

We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant, to join this successful primary school, to work in Key Stage 1/EYFS. There may also be an opportunity to work in a pastoral/SEND provision which Alder Coppice are currently opening. The successful candidates will be enthusiastic, committed professionals, who, ideally, have had successful experience working as Teaching Assistants within a primary school setting.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a school that is committed to achievement for all its pupils and ongoing professional development for staff.

We are looking for candidates who are:-

  1. Excellent practitioners with high expectations;
  2. Experienced at working with children with a variety of needs;
  3. Experienced at working within Key Stage 1 and if possible EYFS;
  4. Potential experience working within a pastoral or SEND base;
  5. Successful in using strategies to raise standards;
  6. Inspirational and creative;
  7. Committed to continuous school improvement.
