We are seeking an additional dedicated and compassionate Education Welfare Officer to join our inclusive and forward‑thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about improving attendance and supporting students and families to overcome barriers to learning. This is a key role in monitoring and improving attendance, working closely with students, families, and external agencies to ensure every child has the opportunity to succeed.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and young people. Your enthusiasm and proactive, ‘can do’ attitude will be amongst your strengths. This is a permanent appointment subject to a 6‑month probationary period. The normal hours of work are 36 hours per week. The position is term‑time only, plus five additional days to cover events outside the normal school day or during the school holidays. Additional holidays cannot be taken during term‑time.
