About the Role

Are you a professional, proactive, and supportive individual looking to make a difference in a busy secondary school setting? We are looking to appoint a professional and supportive individual, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, to deliver a professional, efficient and effective administrative support service to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will work in accordance with the school’s agreed policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards at all times in this busy and varied role. As the PA to the Headteacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the Headteacher’s office and managing a range of responsibilities.

Job Details

This is a permanent appointment subject to a 6‑month probationary period. The normal hours of work are 36 hours per week. The position is term‑time only plus 5 additional days, which will be worked flexibly to cover events outside of the normal school day or during the school holidays. Additional holidays cannot be taken during term time.
