We are looking to appoint a professional and highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. You will need to have the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and young people. Your enthusiasm and proactive ‘can do’ attitude will be amongst your strengths. As the Exams and Assessment Data Officer, you will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the examination process, ensuring compliance with exam board regulations and providing a smooth experience for our students and other stakeholders as well as carrying out the assessment and reporting administration processes for all internal and external assessments.
This is a permanent appointment which is subject to a 12-month probationary period.
The post is 36 hours per week, term time only plus 20 additional days. The normal hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm and Friday, 8:00am to 3:45pm; however, there will need to be flexibility with this during the exam periods.
At least 5 of the additional days will include GCSE results day and the period leading up to this date and immediately after. The remaining additional days will be flexible as required to cover the additional hours required during the exam periods.
