An exciting opportunity to be part of a very ambitious and forward-thinking UK manufacturer of commercial lighting, acoustic and biophilic products selling to the commercial fit-out industry.
Overview of Team Responsibilities:
- Processing of incoming project enquiries, liaising with the sales team and customers, understanding technical information, carrying out designs, and providing completed quotes for sales account managers to take forward.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing the internal pre-construction team for lighting and acoustics.
- Overall co-ordination of workflow from initial enquiry to 'oven ready quote' for sales account managers to take forward. This includes:
- Liaising with account manager/customers to get a detailed grasp of project requirements.
- Putting together a brief including making assumptions where information is not available.
- Co-ordinating lighting/acoustic designs/drawing take-offs to produce a full breakdown of all products required for the project.
- Entering the above product requirements onto a sales quotation which is 100% accurate to facilitate world class enquiry response times.
- Liaising with suppliers on bespoke products.
- Managing external/remote resources if required.
- Supporting the sales team with technical queries if required.
- Working with the sales and operations teams to continually improve systems and processes.
