Our client specialises in hand crafted and bespoke lighting. As Key Account Manager your role will be focused on increasing sales with new cliemts and account managing existing key clients in London and the South East.
Role
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with interior designers, architects, and lighting design studios. This is a pivotal role where exceptional sales and communication skills will be key to identifying new opportunities, upselling, and exceeding targets. This role will report directly to the CEO.
This is a sales role and you will be in front of customer 3-4 days per week and utilising the showroom for being face to face with customers and prospects. You will also attend key industry events to seek opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Increase sales by identifying new opportunities, upselling, and maximising revenue from existing accounts and prospective customers.
Ensure a high level of communication, build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring the lighting solutions meet their needs.
Manage your quote pipeline, provide clarity on project delivery and ensure you track and close the order.
Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to clients, showcasing the uniqueness and value of the lighting collection.
Follow up with customers post-delivery seeking opportunities to strengthen your relationship with them.
Work closely with the design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
Provide regular updates and insights to the CEO on account performance and opportunities for growth.
Requirements
Strong experience in the interior sector, ideally with a background in high-end lighting or luxury interiors.
Proven ability to sell and upsell, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients.
A strong communicator who is a personable and approachable individual who excels at building relationships and networking.
A strong understanding of the needs and project workflows of interior designers, architects, lighting design studios and other customers within the market.
A results-driven individual who can identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive action.
Willingness to consistently travel within London and the Southeast to meet with clients and attend networking events.
Highly experienced in CRM and Microsoft Office
Hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm, Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm
